Wayne Walker
Wayne Walker of Lake Talquin, FL., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011. He was born in Columbus, Georgia, was raised in Tifton, Georgia and moved with his family to Tallahassee as a teenager. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sara Walker, daughter, Suzanne Johnson, son-in-law, Don Johnson, grandchildren, Justin, George, Sara, Virginia and Phillip Wayne Johnson.
He is also survived by his mother, Lucille Walker of Quincy, brother, Jimmy Walker of Tallahassee and sister, Renae Tolson of Quincy. He was predeceased by his father, Ike Walker, his two brothers, Ronnie and Kenny Walker and grandson, Craig Johnson.
Mr. Walker was the original owner of Walker Paint and Body Shop in Tallahassee, Florida, as well as a cattleman in Gadsden County. He is most remembered as a loyal friend and lover of his family.
