William "Billy" May Walker, Jr.
William "Billy" May Walker, Jr., age 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. He was born in Jacksonville, Fl. to William May Walker and Pansy Mavis Crosby Walker on July 23, 1943 and graduated from Leon High School in 1961. He worked for the Florida Department of Insurance for 31 years, served as a reserve officer for the Tallahassee Police Department for 35 years, and served as a deacon with his church for 50 years.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda; one son, Will (Tammy) Walker; one daughter, Jeanne (Ed) Rudd; six grandchildren, Gavin (Lauren) Chavoustie, Joshua Walker, Alexa (Jake) Webb, Ivy Rudd, Scarlett Walker, and Lola Walker; two great grandchildren, Victoria and Olivia Webb; and one brother, Stanley (Joan) Walker.
Visitation will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home on Riggins Road with funeral services starting at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice House of Tallahassee.
